01How aluminum formwork works
Each formwork panel is made from extruded profiles: a flat face skin that shapes the concrete surface, joined to deep side ribs drilled for pins and wedges. Panels are light enough to be handled by hand, assemble quickly into walls and slabs, and — unlike timber — can be cleaned and reused for many pours, which lowers cost per floor on repetitive high-rise work.
