Applications

Where round tubes are used

Extruded on porthole dies with longitudinal seam welds, suitable for structural and architectural use. Tell us if your application requires seamless or pressure-rated tube.

  • Handrails and railings
  • Poles and masts
  • Rollers and shafts
  • Furniture and frames

Questions

How do you calculate round aluminum tube weight?

Area = π/4 × (D² − d²) in mm², where d = D − 2t; multiply by 0.0027 for kg per metre. A Ø40 × 3 mm tube weighs about 0.94 kg/m.
